Lucy Lawless, a New Zealand actor and singer with a $30 million net worth. She is most recognized for her character as the title character on the TV series "Xena: Warrior Princess", which aired 143 episodes between 1995 to 2001. Rob Tapert, her husband who has been married for over 20 years, since 1998 is also included in the net worth. Her mother was a teacher as well as her father who worked as a banker until becoming the mayor of Auckland. She has five siblings and ranks second-to-last in the order. Her family includes Irish Catholic, and she acknowledges her involvement with her mother in her community as a source of motivation. In the beginning, she was interested in performing, Lawless appeared in her first show when she was ten and studied acting throughout high school. When she graduated of Marist College, she transferred to Auckland University where she completed her masters degree in languages. At the age of 21 Lawless took home in 1989 the Miss New Zealand title.The show is about Xena living in a fictional land inspired by Ancient Greece when she uses her warrior powers to help people and pay for her previous mistakes.
